The 1st AMC Secretarial will be located at the Board room, close to the Grand Ballroom. It will be operational on 26– 29 January 2010 from 08.30 – 18.00 hrs.
Accommodation for TRCs Ministers and Senior Officials
Courtesy accommodation at the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin for the TRCs Ministers and Senior Officials is will include daily breakfast service. Hospitality will include hotel–provided services for suite occupants. Courtesy accommodation is provided to the following delegates for the duration of their stay, as indicated.

Additional costs incurred from any extension of stay will be borne by individual delegates.
Accommodation for Accompanying Delegates and Self-funded Delegates
Accompanying delegates are encouraged to stay at the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin. The AMC Secretariat will be pleased to assist delegates with advance reservations for the hotel upon receipt of their reservation requests. Accompanying delegates and self-funded delegates will bear the cost of their own accommodation. The special accommodation rate arranged by the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin for AMC delegates is as follows:

Airport and Hotel Transfer
- TRCs Ministers and Senior Officials
Officials from Thai Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE) with security police will meet TRCs Ministers and Senior Officials upon arrival at and departure from Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Only those delegates staying at the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin will also be picked up and transferred to the Hotel. Transportation between Suvarnabhumi International Airport and the meeting venue will be arranged and sponsored by The World Bank and MNRE.
Only those accompanying delegates and self-funded delegates stay at Hyatt Regency, Hua Hin will also be picked up and transferred to the Hotel.
Transportation service will be provided by the secretariat
- from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Hyatt Regency is on 25-26 January only.
- from Hyatt Regency to Suvarnabhumi Airport is on 29-30 January only.

Limousine Service
An airport limousine service is available 24 hours a day. Hyatt Regency Hua Hin accommodates chauffeured limousine service using BMW cars. Limousine service (BMW 5 series) from Bangkok to Hua Hin is Baht 5,400 per trip.

- Hua Hin Night Market - approximately 3 kilometres / 1.8 miles, 5 minutes by road
Driving Directions From Suvarnabhumi Airport:
3 hours' drive. Take the Motor Way to Rama IX Express way, continue to Dao Kanong Express way and get out the express way to Rama II road then follow the Petchkasem Road to the hotel.
Shuttle Service
The shuttle service between Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok and Hyatt Regency Hua Hin is exclusively provided for the hotel’s guests. The transportation used for this shuttle service is a Toyota Commuter with maximum seven seats. Daily shuttle service departs from the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok at 2:00pm to the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin, and departs from the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin at 10:00am to the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok. The shuttle bus fare is Baht 500 net per adult and Baht 300 net per child below 12.
Passports and Visa Regulations
All delegates are advised to check the validity of their passports (at least six months validity) and to obtain latest information on visa requirements from the Royal Thai Embassy in their respective countries.
Delegates who hold valid passports or traveling documents issued by any country included in an officially issued list of eligible countries are permitted one-month visa-free visits. Information on visa is available at www.mfa.go.th/web/2637.php . The same website also lists all the foreign missions in Thailand.
Meals
Lunch and dinners will be prepared for sponsored delegates during the duration of the conference from 27–29 January 2010. Please check the program for lunch and dinner schedule. Please also note that all food served during the event will not contain pork or lard.
Medical Services
Basic medical services for delegates are available on 27-29 January 2010 from 0830-1800 hrs. The medical service is located at the Pre-function of the Regency Room.
Security
Please observe that security restrictions are in place during the conference. A walk-through metal detector will be installed at the door to the meeting room and will be operated by Thailand Police Force.
